What are these cakes made of?
Each cake is made with simple, organic ingredients that animals genuinely enjoy. Horse cakes include oats, molasses, carrot, apple, and flaxseed. Dog cakes include oats, peanut butter, carrot, and sweet potato with a sweet potato frosting.

Are the cakes safe for animals?
Yes. They are made with animal friendly, organic, human grade ingredients. Serve in portions and always supervise while enjoying.

Can you accommodate allergies or special ingredients?
Yes. We can adjust ingredients for common animal allergies or special requests. Just let us know when placing your order.

How do I store the cake?
Each cake arrives seal wrapped inside its giftable box. If you wish to keep it frozen for gifting, simply remove the wrapped cake and store it in the freezer. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and enjoy within three days for best quality.

When do I pick up my order?
Pickup is available at PiANTA during open hours from December 15 through December 23. Please allow a short wait while we prepare your boxed order upon arrival.

Is this a fundraiser?
No, not in the traditional sense. This project is simply a way for us to support our team in a meaningful, joyful way during the holiday season. Restaurant work is fast paced and demanding, and the people who do it bring so much creativity, heart, and care to this space. We always want to make sure our employees feel appreciated.

A note from Michelle, Owner and Executive Chef
This project began with something very simple. We made a cake for a customer’s horse, and it brought so much happiness that it stayed with me. It reminded me how much joy can come from small, thoughtful things, especially when they connect back to the people and animals we care about.

It also made me think about my team. The work we do in a restaurant is demanding, creative, fast moving, and deeply human. The people who show up here every day bring skill, kindness, and so much heart to this space. I am always looking for ways to show them how appreciated they are.

From that place, this idea grew. A small seasonal project that gives our team a chance to collaborate, create, and earn something additional during the holidays in a way that feels meaningful and connected to our community.

I’m grateful to share this with you, and grateful for the people who make PiANTA what it is every day.
